The project is a vehicle to uncover the lost islands of Paris, both cultural and geographical, through the enclosure of land and definition of lost space.
The proposal is for a grand exhibition hall, retracing the demolished Palais des Machines in Paris and offering it a new life on the Ile aux Cygnes. It is an island of memory, remembering what once was and what is yet to come.
