Animate form (The Pegasus) Part 1 Project 2019 Ankit Kaintura Sushant University | India The aim of the unit was to design spaces from section based approach, studying the experiential aspects that redefine a space and give a new meaning to it. Process involved two approaches for designing – Outside In and Inside Out.Outside in approach involved creating masses and voids that are morphed by external parameters like climate study , circulation , built masses etc. The end result was a hybrid of all the prototypes.Inside out approach explored redefining spaces through 8 basic sectional typologies which were morphed using architectural principles, The final form is generated through merging the sectional prototype with the outside massing hybrids, creating a hyper-realistic functional form, giving a perspective of undefined boundary.The external and internal form play in contrast to each other . External form having a smooth element giving a sense of harmony in relation to the built context, whereas the internal spaces are reimagined according to the basic function typologies .
