Jewel of Tamara: Dialogues Between Frames and Flows Part 2 Project 2020 Elena Liskova University of Plymouth | UK Jewel of Tamara is an architectural proposal based on a network of interconnected urban catalysts (The Necklace of Devonport; Project 2A). It is rooted in time (flows) and place (frames) by means of dialogical approach. The project aims to bring the meta-physical water expression (Myth of creation of river Tamar) into the physical context of spatial organization principles (The Open City; Sennet, R.; 2006)The scheme’s most prominent social aspect is its provision for user participation: design that is subject to constant feedback and self-revising attitude. It is envisioned to evolve in time with the ever-changing needs of its occupants. It requires no formal co- ordination and accommodates synchronistic unforced interactions of many things at once: diverse program; variety of materials (new and recycled/upcycled) and most importantly - wide age group of users.
