Air Highway: Air Pollution as a Catalyst for a New Urban Typology in Mexico City

My thesis proposes the hijacking of an existing road infrastructure ironically built to ease car congestion and using it [the structure] as a catalyst for a new urban typology above the road/in the sky. A machine will ‘harvest’ the air pollution to create a new form of construction material and environment for living above the city - a paradox with the polluting car use below.
