Syrian Community Refugee Centre, Berlin, Germany

Part 2 Project 2016

In 2015 over 4 million refugees fled from Syria in one of the most unprecedented migration of population into Western Europe in recent history. Germany alone took 1 million refugees with many gravitating to the countries capital, Berlin.

The scheme aims to bridge the cultural gap between native Berliners and their new arrivals. A place to celebrate their rich culture and to give Syrians a sense of belonging and acceptance.
