Meinong’s Jungle, Or: What of architecture in a world with only one tongue?

Part 2 Project 2016

Meinong’s Jungle revisits the historical analogy made between architecture and language (an analogy which it is now as customary to condemn as it was thirty years ago to invoke).

Yet it does so not by tediously re-analysing the nature of contemporary linguistics, but by proposing/interrogating a future scenario in which language itself has fundamentally changed.

In a world where everybody speaks one universal (machinic/formal) tongue, what will become of architecture?
