Jam: Intersecting Edges

Part 2 Project 2017

‘Jam: Intersecting Edges’ examines the fruit preserve as a metaphor to critique our urban condition and explore the creation of place through intersections, as opposed to boundaries formed by edges. The proposal for a collaborative knowledge network, which fosters chance interaction and sharing of tacit knowledge along Sydney’s raised Western Distributor viaduct, explores the value of the urban application of jam by exploiting overlapping spatial, functional, typological and user groups.
