In 1995 the feminist design collective MATRIX undertook a research project on women in architecture. The aim was to create a database and archive of contemporary female architects in order to address the issues that they observed in the profession. In 2018, women are still underrepresented and overlooked within architecture. This dissertation explores how the issues in this piece of research still have an impact in the modern architectural profession.
