The idea of the Prosthetic Hedgerow is to elaborate on the increasingly complex relationship
between humans, technology and nature. Post-Humanism embodies a consciousness of our relationship with technology. A Post-Natural
approach introduces ecology into the Posthuman, becoming a critical ideology to our global
sustainability.The project itself is a Hospital; arguably one of the most intimate examples of where the interdependence of humans, technology and nature comes together.

The ideology of the posthuman, the man, machine and circulation are created over a city-wide scale, exaggerating it and utilising the z plane to eventually create a vertical lattice of separating walkways and transportation routes.
The facade becomes the first amalgamation of a Post-natural existence as it expresses a posthuman attitude towards an ecological agent, the artificial hedgerow. Thicker and human scaled towards the bottom, the facade incorporates materials such as timber,
The system is placed untouched as a post natural notion of the artificial hedgerow. Boundaries, volumes and courtyards are created mimicking the complexities of the hedgerow layout of reality.
The proposal becomes an evolved expression of the façade, interjecting the human into an overgown network of natural and artificial.
