Climatised Architecture: Defining Thermal Comfort through Alpine Flora Zones Part 1 Project 2017 Harry Hinton-Hard Oxford Brookes University Oxford | UK Global warming is driving Alpine flora into extinction. In order to preserve the unique species from eradication, this project proposes a hosting platform in the form of Architecture. Alpine plants are accustomed to a series of different temperatures due to their placement at varying heights on a mountain. To accommodate the multiple Alpine species, a multi-temperate building is formed, using environmental systems to create varying temperatures suited to the plants. Harry Hinton-Hard Tutor(s)
