Part 1 Project 2021

This project presents a pioneering urban vertical farm in central Bristol, where vegetables can be grown throughout the year, and where facilities are used to educate the public, students, and schoolchildren.

The establishment will teach and inform the local community about the implications of climate change and the measures that are taken to adapt.

The public will be able to acquire a clear understanding of the food production process.

Food production at the local level will reduce pollution resulting from food delivery/transport, pesticides will be completely eliminated as the food is produced in a sterile environment, packaging will also be eliminated, and the neighbourhood will receive cleaner and healthier food.
