Ciutat del la Llum Part 2 Project 2023 Asmaa Hemaid Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University | China It is a futuristic vision design architectural project with a new virtual language. Experiencing the power of light that represents a 3D video mapping projection and how it can occupy the architectural space provides a different dimension that affects the spatial feeling of the human experience. This project issues the controversial topic of filmic architecture and how this theme is designed in la Sagrera railway station, as it will be not only an ecological park and services buildings but also an interactive space that reflects the history of filmic architecture in Barcelona and its influence on the architects and their designs. Implementing the interactive surfaces with light projection into architectural space as it is a main factor in the design process through artificial intelligence interference to the design process to help finalize the conceptual design and during the decision-making phase. Moreover, AI has influenced the project's final phase by creating an imaginary space with light projection through rendering and realistic images. The merge between light and architecture will take the project to the next level as integrating the two mediums creates a virtual layer that interacts with human gestures and reactions.
